How Does Life After College Change?
And one day, out of the blue, you’ll sit back and realize that if someone gave you the choice, you wouldn’t go back to college. Because you love your life. You’re excited about the future. And you want to keep moving forward.
Life changes after college. And at first it will be hard. You and all of your best friends won’t live in the same building. You might even live in different cities.
You’ll find yourself spending way more time alone than you have in the past four years combined. Maybe you’ll finally eat at a restaurant alone (with a book or your computer, of course)
And there will be nights on which you won’t have anything to do. In fact, you probably won’t want to do anything on even a Friday night. Because you’ll be tired
You will have to come to terms with the fact that you have all of these bills to pay.
In college, you skipped a class without a worry. Now, you’re lucky if you get away with a sick day. You will always be working (round the clock).
Dating in college is one thing, but dating post college is a constant struggle. Resorting to dating applications on your phone is one of your only options. It’s more of a hope-for-the-best and prepare-for-the-worst kind of situation.
Your priorities are going to change, of course, needs and desires too.
